Networks and WWW

Network is a group of computer systems and also other computing hardware devices, these are linked together through some communication channels.

Network has some types but the principal ones are:
LAN (Local Area Network)
-Computer Network that spans a relatively small area
-Most often, it is confined to a single room, building or building groups

MAN (Metropolitan Area Network)
-Spans an entire city or a campus
-Formed when LAN’s are connected

WAN (Wide Area Network)
-It exists in a large scale in any geographical area
-Connects different smaller networks


WWW: World Wide Web
